About us

The primary purpose of the Product Marketing & Merchandising Manger is to support the Skinbrands business by forecasting stock requirements, creating analysis & providing insights with supporting documentation for new launches to help facilitate decision making & improve operating profits.

Requirements

Experience required

  • Minimum 5 years merchandising experience to include merchandising analytics
  • Previous experience of working with beauty brands

Responsibilities

Forecasting, Analysis & Systems

 

  • Extract & combine data from multiple sources to create analysis to support decision making for new product launches and stock requirements
  • Provide ongoing maintenance of analysis tools and identify opportunities for improvement to applications and processes
  • Provide margin & profit analysis for current & on boarding brands
  • Evaluate suitability of new Brands based on sales analysis & profit requirements
  • Ensure on time delivery of Monday reports for MD & sales teams & support with analysis for Monday trading meetings across all brands
  • Working with Operations & Logistics manager to forecast stock requirements for core lines to maintain stock availability.
  • Forecast stock requirements for new brand & product launches with brand supplier
  • Provide timely forward forecasts to brand suppliers as required
  • Work with web & sales teams on promotional activities
  • Set up & maintain WSSI & OTB information as required for MD to drive sales opportunities across all brands & channels
  • Develop & maintain a BI pack to support the Sales teams with Board related queries, acting as a bridge between sales, accounts & IT
  • Look for ways to improve current processes & increase automation of tasks
  • Work with other reporting teams to produce ad hoc analysis as required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, in particular sales, marketing, training, finance, logistics & IT

 

Product Marketing

  

  • Managing Product Marketing Co-Ordinator for all new brand and product launches
  • Roll our commercial directovve on new brand and product launches
  • Managing the set up of new products on Sage
  • Providing analysis to support the new prouct launch requirements and managing the Product Marketing Co-Ordinator in scoping recommendations for new brands

Pricing

 

  • Manage and & oversee the price file to ensure accuracy for all channels
  • Liaise with sales & marketing teams around pricing needs and changes
  • Develop a robust understanding of pricing policies & promotions
  • Develop analysis for sale periods & pricing decisions to optimise profitability
  • Manage the pricing of clearance products

Other

  • Manage the Product Marketing co-ordinator
  • Work with Digital marketing team to oversee the launch planning calendar ensuring new Brand & product launch information is accurate & stock is delivered on time
  • Attendance of quarterly sales meetings to support sales & training teams
